PROJECT NOTES

As part of the writers’ room, I joined the project in its early stages. Our goal was to bring Tülin Sezgin’s beloved social media characters to life in a TV series that playfully satirizes everyday life in a typical German government office. Together, we started shaping the show’s core structure by distilling Tülin's beloved characters into a tight ensemble, defining main and supporting roles, mapping out possible season arcs and highlighting deeper themes. The mockumentary format opened up many creative possibilities, allowing us to tell stories that feel real, stay true to the characters and bring out the accidental comedy of everyday life in a German office.

The two scripts I wrote starting in 2024 were part of a submission that ultimately led to the ZDF's Production Greenlight in spring 2025.
